Basima has ten years of experience in diverse civil engineering with a concentration of sustainable development in Iraq. She is the founder of KESK, which brings green design sustainable building consulting services in Iraq. Her vision is to re-build the structures in Iraq that will not harm future generations by integrating the triple bottom line concept. She is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, a Climate Trailblazer and a TEDx Speaker. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Dohuk University and a Masterâ€™s Degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University.
