Biography

Mr. Viteri has been involved with AI since his university days at MIT. Trained as a symbolic AI programmer he was involved with the early formation of such companies as Symbolics and Thinking Machines. More recently Mr. Viteri has become active in current AI projects but as CEO of Neubloc but also as an active investor and mentor in this space. Neubloc has a strong multi-national technology development team which covers a broad range of AI technologies including data analytics, predictive analytics, neural networks and machine vision. The company has implemented projects for Fortune 200 companies as well as young technology startups across a range of industries. In addition Mr. Viteri heads up the AI Special Interest Group for the Keiretsu Forum – one of the world's largest source of early stage technology company capital as well as chairing the committee for "AI Day" for Silicon Valley's Band of Angels – one of the oldest and most prestigious angels groups in the world. He is also the founder of an early stage capital formation firm which specializes in guiding investors and startups through their earliest stages of capital raises. He has raised some $200m+ in various raises for the companies he has been involved in. As such he is deeply involved in early stage capital formation for technology companies both in the US.

Mr. Viteri was one of the earliest employees at Sun Microsystems early in his career. Since then he has also been active in the startup and startup investing community. Having raised some $200m in various venture capital rounds for his own companies, he has been involved in two company public offerings. He has served in every possible capacity related to early stage technology companies: as an investor, as a board member, as an limited partner in various VC funds, as an advisor to family offices, startup companies and venture capital firms. He is a member of several organized angel groups in Silicon Valley and the American Southwest. He currently serves as a partner in a boutique private equity firm, Ameritege Technology Partners.

Mr. Viteri has served on several technology company boards and variety of industry standards bodies. Mr. Viteri earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
