Ms. Bango is the Executive Director of Empretec Zimbabwe, an organisation with a mandate to grow and develop entrepreneurs. She is an Enterprise Developer and Institution Builder with over twenty five years of experience working locally, regionally and internationally. Busi has worked in various capacities in different areas with special emphasis in entrepreneurship and enterprise development, policy formulation and analysis, strategy and research.
She has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, UNDP, UN Women; UNCTAD, ILO, USAID and several bi lateral and private sector organisations. Ms Bango is a United Nations Conference on Trade and Development certified international trainer and evaluator in entrepreneurship; an International Trade Centre certified Supply Chain Trainer; a USAID certified Competency Based Trainer and a GIZ certified trainer in trade and gender. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently pursuing a PhD.
Ms Bango has served as a director in several companies spanning across different economic sectors, including mining, engineering, manufacturing, university council member and currently sits on many boards.
A mother of two, she, at a personal level supports orphans and disadvantaged children with school fees and university education.
