Natalia is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation and how to improve lives through them. An eager learner about other countries, cultures and human behavior.
She is the Deputy Director of AEI – Alianza para el Emprendimiento e Innovación, an organization that promotes the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Ecuador (www.aei.ec). She has been responsible for creating a National Strategy for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and policy making to promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem along with technical support from AEI international partners such as: CAF – Banco de desarrollo de America Latina, UNCTAD – United Nations Conference in Trade and Development, Prodem among others. And lately working with a law project to improve regulatory framework for entrepreneurship and innovation.
Natalia brings the best out of connecting public, private, academic and social sectors in every effort, in order to transform Ecuador in one of the most attractive countries in the region to startup and innovate.
Before joining AEI, Natalia lived in Malaysia, where she learned about working with multi diverse teams, entrepreneurship, on line marketing and innovative platforms for education. Ambassador for Pachamama Organization which creates awareness to save the rainforest in Ecuador. AIESEC member and a volunteer for "Creating a Happy Space" an NGO that helps refugee children to release fears through playtime and arts.
