Frances Lanzone joins the Global Entrepreneurship Network as Chief of Staff following ten years of passionate work supporting global efforts to promote entrepreneurship policy and investment. When she is not making introductions for innovators, influencers & investors, Frances enjoys a dynamic, altruistic lifestyle in Washington, D.C. supporting social entrepreneurs and bureaucracy ninjas who are redesigning the U.S. government.
As an entrepreneur herself, Frances joins GEN following a successful two years of consulting with influential clients such as the WeWork Creator Awards, Sunshine Sachs, XPRIZE, Partners of the Americas, The Kennedy Forum, Pan American Health Organization & Peruvian Brothers.
Prior to launching her own firm, Frances served as the first Director of Social Enterprise at POLITICO and spent five years at the White House, working in the Office of Global Engagement at the National Security Council where she developed a series of cultural diplomacy, entrepreneurship and study abroad initiatives that President Obama placed as a foreign policy priority. Prior to the White House, Frances worked for Ashoka's Changemakers, coordinating global competitions for social entrepreneurs.
