Guillem is CEO at Autoocupació, a nonprofit private institution, a member of Youth Business Spain and Youth Business International networks. Autoocupació has been leading the provision of financial and non-financial services supporting entrepreneurs to succeed creating and growing their own businesses for the last 30 years in Catalonia.
With a wide experience in supporting business creation, managing programs to facilitate training, access to finance and mentoring for underserved entrepreneurs, Guillem is the founder of Autoocupació, Business Angels Network Catalunya, Microenterprise Agency, Reempresa and Youth Business Spain, and Vice President of the European Microfinance Network.
Guillem has been responsible for the strategy development and implementation of the mentoring program for young entrepreneurs in Spain. With more than 1.200 volunteer mentors supporting close to 2,000 young entrepreneurs, the program has achieved an amazing business survival rate of 87% after 5 years.
He has been a speaker at different international mentoring and entrepreneurship events including the University of New Mexico's Annual International Mentoring Conference, the Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit, the European Microfinance Network Annual Conference, the BIZ Barcelona Entrepreneurship Congress, etc.
