Christopher Lee is a rising healthcare entrepreneur. Chris
received his BS from the University of Connecticut, a
masters from the Johns Hopkins University Biodesign
program, and also holds a PhD from the joint Harvard-MIT
Division of Health Sciences and Technology Program, with
a research focus in targeted drug delivery, where he
worked under Professor Michael Cima.
Chris is a Co-Founder of InfiniteMD, a telemedicine
company providing patients around the world access to expert physicians for online medical second opinions and disease specific expertise via live, video consultation.
InfiniteMD has offices in the US and Asia. InfiniteMD is also a preferred technology vendor for several notable hospital networks. Chris also previously co-founded Recon Therapeutics, a medical device start-up focused on providing an improved platform to help patients mix, dose, and inject therapeutics. Some of Recon Therapeutics' notable achievements include selection as a MassChallenge Gold Prize Winner, and induction into the 2015 TEDMED Hive cohort, representing one of 20 most innovative healthcare startups in the world.
During graduate school, Chris served as a Director of MIT Hacking Medicine, an internationally acclaimed organization out of MIT focused on energizing the healthcare ecosystem through design thinking education and launching healthcare startups. This organization since its inception has helped launch over 40+ active healthcare companies that have raised $200M+ in financing. Chris has personally led, assisted, and planned dozens of events around the world to foster healthcare entrepreneurship and design thinking, and has been a featured speaker at venues such as SXSW and BIO International Convention. For Chris' efforts, MIT Hacking Medicine was awarded a Stanford MedX Healthcare Design Award for "Education in Health" during his tenure.
Some of Chris's personal awards include selection as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Forbes 30 Under 30 Healthcare Honoree, Boston Medtech 40 Under 40, and an Inc.com top 50 young entrepreneur under 25. Chris also has healthcare management consulting experience with Sagentia.
